Amalia Jimenez is a 4th year student at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management. She is pursuing a degree in Economics (BA) and a minor in AgriBusiness Economics and Management. Amalia runs a Mexican agricultural business alongside her mother, growing and selling garlic. She focuses on sustainable and ethical farming while also exploring biotechnology within this field. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Amalia will focus on expanding her sustainable business to help lower food insecurity while protecting the planet.
